Guest Blog Post on Creativity!

A Great post by ToLiveInspired’s Blog.
Lately I’ve found myself in what I call a “creative slump.” I have ideas floating around in my head, but I just can’t seem to make them happen. Where do I start?

Q: I really feel the pull to do something creative, but I just think I may be one of those people who is just not creative. The things I have tried are just not as good as they should be. It’s discouraging, how do I start to find my creative voice, or am I just better off giving up that idea and moving on?

A: Let me start with this: You are creative, you were born that way. We just lose sight of what that looks like as we get older. About Kerrilynn

I love all things arts and crafts related, including (but not limited to) fine arts such as photography, watercolors/chinese brush painting, pastels both oil and soft; fiber arts such as knitting, crocheting, and spinning. I have a few obsessions such as fountain pens, all things steampuck, penguins, and all things nail polish and nail art related! I also have a rare genetic connective tissue disease that affects collagen production in the body called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). Having a chronic illness takes up a lot of my time and even feels like it's a full time job just to keep track of everything (Dr's appts, symptoms, meds, etc.). However, it's not my whole life. I started my blogs to showcase my many hobbies as well as bring awareness to rare illnesses.

Thanks for sharing my blog post! I am glad you got something out of it! Sounds like you could use a new perspective and to mix it up to get you our of your creative slump. A few ideas are to grab a journal and write down your ideas to capture them, and then do something totally different and unrelated to mix it up for you creativly!
